Canon 7D Mark II ReviewReviews
Last week, my daughter (front row, third from the right) was testing for her white with double black striped belt. It’s a graduation belt that means she can move up to the kids class where she will start as a purple belt.
I bought the Canon 7D Mark II for sports because I found that I was missing some shots with my 5D Mark III — 10fps of the 7D Mark II is hard to beat!
Pressed for time since I was leaving town the very next day, I shot these all in JPEG Mode (with the exception of the group photo) using the Snapshot Portrait picture style — you can download it here. Set the camera to automatically adjust for the flickering lights and did everything else with manual settings along the way. The lens used was the 24–70mm f/2.8 II (of course the fisheye shots were done with the 8–15mm f/4 fisheye lens).
The autofocus tracking worked wonderfully and I’m very pleased with the shots, the quality of the images, and even the noise performance. If you need a camera for action and sports, then this is the one to get!
