Photo workflow as of 12-30-2015

I’m always looking for an easy and fast way to get the colors, contrast, cropping, and toning to look just right for any particular set up images. Quite often, I shoot RAW+JPEG and just post the JPEGs. A lot of the time, the results are quite nice. However, just editing the images from the RAW a tad in post can have dramatic effects.

Here’s my 3 step process as of today.

  1. Lightroom for basic cropping and toning
  2. Alien Skin Exposure for creative coloring
  3. Athentech Perfectly Clear for finalizing

Here are some photos from today’s lunch with the family and friends that I edited very quickly using the above three steps. The photos were shot with a GX8 and a Panasonic Leica 15mm f/1.7 lens.

I’m quite pleased with the results! I would say that my mother’s eyes are brightened a little too much in the last picture, but I’ll work on that going forward.
