Photo workflow as of 12-30-2015
I’m always looking for an easy and fast way to get the colors, contrast, cropping, and toning to look just right for any particular set up images. Quite often, I shoot RAW+JPEG and just post the JPEGs. A lot of the time, the results are quite nice. However, just editing the images from the RAW a tad in post can have dramatic effects.
Here’s my 3 step process as of today.
- Lightroom for basic cropping and toning
- Alien Skin Exposure for creative coloring
- Athentech Perfectly Clear for finalizing
Here are some photos from today’s lunch with the family and friends that I edited very quickly using the above three steps. The photos were shot with a GX8 and a Panasonic Leica 15mm f/1.7 lens.
I’m quite pleased with the results! I would say that my mother’s eyes are brightened a little too much in the last picture, but I’ll work on that going forward.
