Ballard Farmers Market and Uwajimaya with the Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM

Sunday mornings are typically for karate. Most Sundays, I attend a 7 a.m. class for adults, and then assist with three kids classes afterwards. However, the dojo was closed for the entire Memorial Day Weekend. Because of this, we got an early start and headed up to Seattle to go to the Ballard Farmers Market. Besides all of the fantastic booths, the food was delicious! Afterwards, we headed off to Uwajimaya to get some candy kits, noodles, lunch, and other groceries.

I brought along a Sony a7R III and 24mm f/1.4 GM lens. The touch screen of the a7R III with this lens make it a perfect combo for getting close to your photographic subject, and this lens is perhaps the best autofocusing 24mm lens I’ve ever used. That being said, the Zeiss 25mm Milvus is probably the best lens I’ve used near this focal length.

Images were processed using Lightroom on my iPad with Lutify.me presets. I’ve been playing with other software, specifically ON1 Photo RAW 2019.5, but the software was too slow and terribly frustrating to use because of it. Lightroom CC with Lutify seems to be the best performance and results for me.
