McMenamins Elks Temple

Luck was on my side today, as I was able to take a half day and go on a date with Vanessa. We headed over to the new McMenamins Elks Temple in Tacoma for a lunch date. The place has many different rooms and hallways to explore with kitschy art, lights, and furniture. We had to rush through since our girls were going to be home from school soon, but I had a chance to take some interesting photos before we headed back home.

I’d like to come back again when I have more time to explore and photograph a lot more of the interesting pieces of kitsch there.
