Nadia’s 13th Birthday Weekend

Weird times – weird birthday parties.

We did our best to make Nadia’s 13th memorable. Due to crowd restrictions, social distancing, etc., we were only able to invite one friend. Still, we all had a good time.

Day 1, we went out to high tea – the first three shots are with the D850 and 28mm f/1.4

Day 2, we signed up in advance for a behind the scenes zookeeper tour at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. Nadia’s always been fascinated by sea life, and this was something new for all of us.

Instead of birthday cake, Nadia requested crème brûlée. Vanessa was all too eager to bring out her blowtorch and oblige!
