This was a really fun park to visit. We didn’t have a chance to do the whole hiking trail since we were there for low tide, but it’s quite a nice trail. The beach has a rather long strip of sand dollars – so many, you need to be careful where you step!

All photos were shot using the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 and Panasonic S1R. While not my favorite 35mm lens ever, there’s no denying the bokeh of this lens. I really wish Panasonic made their own pro version 35mm f/1.4 as the autofocus, optics, and built quality of this Sigma lens don’t match the native Panasonic lenses like the 24-70mm f/2.8 or 50mm f/1.4. Perhaps one day (if it’s ever available), I’ll replace it with the Leica version. I definitely need to shoot more often with this lens though to properly evaluate it though.

I used Luminar 4 to finish up the photos after initial edits in Lightroom – unfortunately it lost all metadata in the process. I exported TIFF from Lightroom to a folder on my desktop, then I edited in Luminar and saved to JPEG – definitely a problem with their app.

What do you think?
