Bellevue Botanical Gardens in the Fall — Canon 5DS and Canon 35mm f/1.4L II

As much as I love using mirrorless cameras, the Canon 5DS just has so much resolution and clarity that I’m constantly amazed! These were all shot with the Canon 35mm f/1.4L II lens, just a sharp as can be lens! These were all shot midday with a gray sky, hence not the best dynamic range. Although, I find that Capture One Pro 9 really helps alleviate that, from there I ran them through Athentech’s Perfectly Clear.

Even though the 35mm f/1.4L II is not a macro lens, with the 5DS’s resolution, it sure works well as one!

The next image of the bee on the flower is actually a crop from the photo above! Look at all that detail.
