The light was getting low, so I shot most of these images at f/2, a high ISO – a lot at 6400 (which is problematic for the M262), and slow shutter speeds. One thing that I’m getting used to when shooting the Leica rangefinders, is that some of the best images aren’t always sharp. Many have motion blur and some are slightly out of focus. Not to sound cliche’, but it makes them look more like old time shots – almost nostalgic.
I processed all of these images using VSCO for the iPad. It’s funny, but the iPad and VSCO are now my preferred way of editing images. Unfortunately, there is no VSCO desktop app. There are Lightroom presets, but they do not function the same way.
