Seattle Aquarium

Took the girls to the Seattle Aquarium today. Pretty expensive for what it is. It was darn near $100 for the three of us just for the price of admission. Honestly, the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma is nicer, less crowded, more to see and do, and a better value. You could buy an annual membership for a little bit more to the Tacoma Zoo.

Moreover, we had a rather unpleasant and threatening incident with a crazy person inside the elevator to the parking garage. Thankfully we were able to get off the elevator before things escalated, and luckily he didn’t follow us off. This is the second time that my eldest daughter and I have experienced a threatening situation with homeless person in and around that area. It’ll be a long time before I take the family to Seattle again – it’s just not safe.

Photos were taken with the R5 and a Sigma 24mm f/1.4 on an EF / RF adapter.
